Are You Ready to Lose OR Ready to Gain?

TSA- Are You Ready to Lose or Gain“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” Winston Churchill

Everyone who stands to speak stands to lose. You stand to lose your fears of rejection, looking foolish and having others laugh at you.   You stand to lose all those inhibitions that have held you back for years.

You stand to lose feelings of being less than others and wishing you could be more bold and outspoken.  You stand to lose those mental chains that have shackled you as a life-long restriction on everything you’ve wanted to do.

You stand to lose feelings of inadequacy and thoughts you aren’t as smart as others. You stand to lose mental roadblocks that you have constructed limiting you in your forward momentum.

You stand to gain courage, feelings of worthiness and admirers who can only wish they have what you are sharing. You stand to gain well-earned recognition, a pay raise, new opportunities that have never presented themselves to you in the past.

You stand to gain in both mental and social skills that make you a leader who others will willingly follow. You stand to gain in knowledge and attitude because you believe and see what you are fully capable of doing.

Standing to speak separates you from the crowd and gives you the feeling of being ‘outstanding’, not an introvert.  Standing to speak calls attention to you in a very positive way and puts you on the ladder to success that others want to climb, but don’t have the nerve to take that first step.  If you’re ready to gain, stand up and speak.

“Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven’t half the strength you think they have. Just stand up to it, that’s all, and don’t give way under it, and it will finally break. You will break it. Something has to break and it won’t be you, it will be the obstacle.”    Andrew Carnegie
